visual Mayaka is a fairly short and small framed girl. Her eye colour is pink, and she has short sepia-brown hair that is cut just below her ears. When not in the Kamiyama High School uniform, she dresses in casual-chic and tomboyish outfits (overalls, shorts, shirts with ruffles etc). Sheâs also seen cosplaying classic manga characters during events.

history Mayaka is one of the members of the Classics Literature Club, and the Manga Club. Sheâs a volunteer librarian in her school library, and an aspiring manga artist â though she is embarrassed to admit this publicly. She grapples with her ability as an artist, and what it means to make âgoodâ art, but continues to work towards creating a âgoodâ manga.
She operates with a strong sense of justice and responsibility. While she holds others to high standards, sheâs often most critical of herself. Sheâs also rather blunt with her words and is known to have a sharp tongue to those that she has a bad impression of. However, sheâs generally kind and pleasant to those around her unless theyâve left a bad impression on her. Sheâs also honest to a fault, and wonât hesitate to confront someone to uphold her sense of justice. When it comes to solving mysteries, rather than coming up with deductions and solutions, she prefers pointing out inconsistencies and mistakes.
And while she may seem tough and stubborn, sheâs timid when thereâs any hint of the supernatural, like ghosts.
